Kaidoh should have known better then to ask for help on his science project.

In truth Kaidoh had not even asked for help, he had not even brought up his project. Fuji had turned to Kaidoh as they were changing and made a brief innocuous comment about Himeno-sensei’s end of the year project and instantly everyone in the room had been focused on Kaidoh, especially Inui. Kaidoh had hissed, mumbling his way through what he was doing his paper on before Inui, glasses glinting, had pushed into the conversation and stated that he would be glad to help Kaidoh with his project… if Kaidoh needed it.

 

Kaidoh was respectful, he didn’t want to reflect badly upon his family and there was no way to refuse Inui’s offer without seeming rude. His statement of ‘I’m supposed to do it on my own’ was brushed away. Plenty of other students were doing their projects with the help of older siblings, why should Kaidoh be left out?

 

Kaidoh had let Inui follow him home with a strong sense of impending doom.

 

Watching as Inui gleefully mixed various things in a blender Kaidoh swallowed. Inui had used all natural ingredients, Kaidoh had watched everything Inui added to the blender and it had all come from Kaidoh’s kitchen. There was nothing in the juice that should make it fizz and bubble like that.

 

Hopefully Kaidoh would be alive to finish writing his paper tonight, he would hate to get a bad grade because his senpai had poisoned him.
