Miyuki stared from where she was leaning in the doorway. “What are you doing?” Her brother was standing shirtless in a pair of ripped cargo pants and staring at himself in the mirror. His room was littered with various shirts, shorts, socks, necklaces, earrings, arm warmers, and various miscellaneous articles of clothing.
“Getting ready for work.” Chitose said, firmly affixing the triangle earring in his ear. “Now which says ‘fire me’ more, the black see through shirt or the purple frilly one Auntie sent for Christmas?”
“You know,” Miyuki pulled a lollipop from her pocket, unwrapping and sucking on the sweet. “This could backfire on you and they could keep you around for ‘diversity’.” The horrified look on Chitose’s face made her giggle.
