Apr. 19th, 2007 10:42 amMarui did not want to have the teacher assign him a partner for their science project.
He could handle a science project all on his own. And if he needed a partner Marui would chose Yagyuu, Yagyuu was really smart after all he could keep up with Marui’s project with no trouble at all. But if the teacher assigned partners he was going to end upwith someone stupid.
“Marui-kun and Niou-kun.” Marui bit back a groan. He knew it. Glancing at the hedgehog, as Marui had taken to thinking of him, he glared at the other’s large grin. Niou barely passed his classes, there was no way Marui was going to ace this project like he usually did. The teacher kept talking, assigning other members of their class into teams, and pairing up Yagyuu with that quiet girl who sat in the front row. Marui could care less he was going to fail. “I expect your projects to be done by next week.” The bell rung, and the teacher dismissed the class. Marui started gathering up his things slowly, packing them into his bag. His life was over, Marui’s mother hated bad grades.
“Yo.” The hedgehog had bounced over to his desk. “So, partner, do you want to work on our project today or are you busy.”
“I’m not busy hed..” Marui stopped, what was the hedgehog’s name again? Oh right. Niou. “Niou. You can come over or whatever.”
There was a soft cough behind him and Marui turned. “I assume you will not mind my walking home with you two?” Yagyuu had that pinched constipated look he always got when he was uncomfortable. Yagyuu lived in the same apartment building as Marui, and they were used to walking home together.
“The more the merrier!” And Niou had his arm wrapped around Yagyuu’s shoulders now, looking like a cat about to eat a canary. Yagyuu looked even more constipated then he did when dealing with the touchy-feely gym teacher.
“…c’mon.” Marui slung his bag over his shoulder, marching out of the room. “My mom’ll make cookies.”
