I can honestly say that the smut is coming soon. I swear. Next chapter. Hopefully. ~groan~ Unless my Angel muse gets bitchy about screen time again, I already had to give into his demands for low fat strawberry creamcheese.
Title: Tribes of Blight
Author: Kitti-Chan
Pairing: Willow/Spike/Xander, Buffy/Angel, Faith/Oz, hints of Graham/Xander, and vague mentions of Cordelia/Gage
Spoilers: AU
Summary: A plague wipes out everyone over the age of 18, the Scooby’s endure.
A/N- Since everyone over 18 has died I decided not to kill the demons. Don’t ask me why it just doesn’t affect their physiology. Also Angel is still a vampire he just has no demon… I know it does not make much sense but I needed him around. I set it before their junior year because I did not want to deal with Aus and Hell and coming back and the mayor. Which brings me to him. He’s dead, he was basically human and over 18; hence death. Also Giles, sadly, died and not so sadly Ben died too; taking Glory with him. Dawn however will still appear because the monks (who have died) had to put the Key somewhere.<BR>And yes I do love Hyena!Xander
Feedback: Would be much-ly appreciated

"No!" Xander shouted as he threw himself out of yet another nightmare. Not again, not again. Huddling under his covers the young man shivered before stepping out of his sheets and heading towards the washroom. Stripping out of his sweat soaked clothes Xander shivered slightly in the cold air before turning the nob on one of the showerheads in what used to be the boys locker room. Shuddering Xander let the water hit him for a few seconds before turning it off. He hadn't brought soap or shampoo and did not want to waste any of their precious water in a search for comfort. He knew that hot water would not help. Stepping back into his pajama pants Xander grimaced before flinging his shirt into the pile of collective clothes to be washed for that week. Heading back to the barracks he stopped at the foot of his empty cot and brought out some fresh clothes quickly changing before leaving the room to find something to occupy himself with. He had not slept much since Market and as such was catching up on several much needed building projects but nothing that he could do by himself sprung to mind at that point.
Walking further into the complex Xander ran down the list of things he could do. Helping Larry with the teaching was out, 'school' did not start for another couple of hours. The kitchen was closed so helping with the cooking was out, and guard duty was.... definitly out. Faith and Oz would be up there tonight not to mention the fact that the others on gaurd had started giving him odd looks because of how much time he spent up there and Andrew was always two steps away from popping whenever they were in the same room and Andrew was always on guard duty at night. Couldn't leave his precious generators alone. Snickering slightly Xander shook his curly head and thought about anything else he could do...
And came up with nothing.
Stopping in the middle of a deserted hallway Xander started to breathe rapidly. He ran through his mental list. Nothing. Nothing to take his mind off of... of... Wait, Dawn should... no she would be working and if he showed up she'd be worried. Worried and suspicious and angry and knowing. Willow! No, Willow was... was... with Spike or sleeping or both. And as much as that mental image should have made him smile Xander couldn't find the energy. Slumping down against a wall Xander let his head drop onto his knees and began to loose himself in his mind.
Spike hummed happily to himself as he strode down the halls away from the infirmary. Another nice snog session with Red, though she had neatly avoided any mention he had made of Xander and what was up. No matter, he'd get to the heart of it eventually and, hold on. Nose flaring the vampire followed the scent of despair to find a slumped little Hellmouth-ian huddled against the wall. Mentally Spike sighed, another one bites the dust. Stress of the monster hunting must have gotten to the young thing. Bringing himself down level with the mortal Spike's nose flared again catching the scent of chocolate. Surprise and shock overwhelming sense Spike's hand darted out and yanked the other man's chin up bringing them both eye to eye.
"Xander? Xan, pet tell me what's wrong." Xander looked at him blankly brown eyes whirlpools and nothingness. Worry to the forefront Spike coaxed the young man to stand and walk with him. The other came docily something that sent another pang of worry through Spike's unbeating heart. Entering the infirmary he bypassed a worried Dawn to put Xander down on one of the cots. The young man just continued to stare into nothing. "Willow!" The witch rushed disheveled and only wearing pants and a bra, shirt held in one hand and Spike did not even allow himself time to admire the veiw. Dawn hovered on the edges of his eyesight wringing her hands, eyes limped hazel pools beginning to gather tears. "I found him in the hallway, like this." Willow nodded bobbing her head and sliding the shirt on quickly before ordering instructions to Dawn and checking Xander's vitals.
It's not long before all three stand there looking at Xander worry clear on all their faces. Phsyically he was fine and mental workings were apparently Xander's schtick so the young witchling was lost. Her green eyes almost matched her life longs freinds in hopelessness. Spike shook off his morbidness and turned to Willow, Xander could be fixed he just needed to know how the boy was broken in the first place. "Red, I need to know what happened at Market. Now." Willow allowed one glance at Dawn before locking on Spike's blue eyes and spilling. Words bubbled out of her mouth speaking of fights, and coercion, and pain, and rape, and anger. All sorts of images and memories and connections made in an instant. Then the girl collapsed into Spike's arms sobbing much like the Slayer had not too long ago. Dawn's eyes were doe-wide but held none of that animals innocence. "Dawnie, was Xander... really that bad off?" Pleading clear and the young thing, so young, turned and nodded. Nodding himself Spike made a decision. "Dawn I want you to leave, in about an hour come back with the Poof and Betty. Willow and I are gonna take care of some things." Body functioning on auto-pilot the young girl leaves and Spike wonders where she will wait out that hour, what she will do in the mean time.
Pulling the warm body of his, love? lover?, away from his body Spike looked into the green eyes and wiped away the tears that still clung to the heart shaped face. "Now luv, you and I are gonna fix our boy up. Those bastards over at Velocity made a right mess of him and he needs us to help him out. That's what I plan on doing."

Xander shook as the fist approached him again, knocking him back on his heels Xander looked up at his towering father. He had never been fast enough, smart enough, nice enough, decent enough to avoid his father's attempts to 'straighten him out'. Then the fist approached again but instead of his father it was Riley's and the scenery changed. No longer lying on his kitchen floor but tied on his back to the bed in Velocity's camp. He twisted around and his lovers applied their fists to him, this round going farther then simple pleasure into punishment. Punishment for leaving his rightful place, for trying to be better. He would always end up back here, a sacrificial lamp, a whipping boy for others. He had tried to be better, tried to deny that he was a whore. "But that's all you are Xander, my whore." Graham above him pounding into him now, no Riley and Xander writhed under the assault. "You're dirty, never gonna be good at anything other then fucking. This is your place, where you belong. Under me, beneath me. You're beneath everyone Xander, your freinds know that now its time for you to realize that." Standing and watching Spike and Willow kiss heart ripping itself out of his chest because he wanted to be there he wanted that kiss. Wanted Spike and Willow but he was dirty, unclean beneath them. Did not deserve their freindship, their love. "You're mine Xander, and you won't ever be able to escape that. I own you."
"No." Xander said, and remembered his own words, his own thoughts. Remembered the hungry looks in Spike's eyes when he watched Xander, the love and caring in Willows. He needed to beat this creature, this doubt, this enemy back. "I told you, if I was yours I'd never have left in the first place." A laugh and Xander was surrounded by darkness and whirled around and around.
"Don't you see Xander, you haven't left. You're still mine, still under me. You still belong to me." Then he was back under Graham, being ruthlessly fucked and not even the pleasure/pain excited him any more. "I've got you right where I want you." Then voices, he could hear them. Not Graham's, but the bastards words were drowning them out. "I'll never let you go, and they will. They already know you're a whore, how long before they push you out? You've nothing to them, dirt beneath their shoes." Concentrating on the whispers Xander ignored the blond's words and any emotions they created. Instead listening to noises that spoke of love and belonging but not subserviance. Of want and pleasure and choice.
Following them back Xander found Willow and Spike hovering over his body, Willow holding his hand massaging the joints in worry while Spike petted his hair. "C'mon luv, come back to us Xander."
"We love you, please. We want to help. Don't let him win Xander, please." Tears were dripping onto his hand and it twitched at the feeling and the brunet's heart squeezed at the look of joy that flashed across Willow's face. Spike saw this and bent down to whisper in the young mans ear.
"C'mon Xander, I know you've got a white knight complex the size of my ego. Come back. Please. She loves you, I love you. Let us in pet."
Xander shuddered and found himself in his bed back at Velocity but it no longer felt like he was supposed to be there. It felt the same as when he had left with Dawn, like it was a shit hole that was holding him back holding him down. "You're mine!" Graham growled but he stayed at the other side of the tent, though he strained to reach Xander, it almost appeared as if he could not touch the other man. "You can't go!"
Cool brown eyes lifted and met the angry man's face. "I've done it before." Then he faded.

Spike did not know whether to sob or smile when Xander's eyes fluttered closed. When they opened again and the brown eyes were filled with vitality and life it was all he could do not to crow. Willow sobbed and threw herself into the other mans arms. "Don't you ever do that to me again!" She cried and pounded on Xanders chest before collapsing all cried out. Xaner smiled and met Spike's eyes as he raised Willow's chin up. Leaning down he planted a kiss on Willow's lips. A chaste kiss, but a promise. To both the girl and the vampire.
"Don't worry. I don't plan on it."
