kat8chaWhen Byakuran's face, magnified, appeared in the sky and fired a laser beam into the mountain behind Namimori Spanner, instead of scrambling for boxes or sensible explanations or even for cover, turned to Shouichi and asked, "Satellite?"
Shouichi ruffled through his hair and attempted to control his spazzing, but from the jumping of his shoulders and twitching of his feet he was obviously having a poor time of it. "Well, yes. See… well, you helped build it."
"I didn't implement the holographic projectors." Spanner unwrapped a lollipop and popped it into his mouth while the Vongola summoned their box animals and posed dramatically. "Were those added post launch?"
"I think he must have put them on secretly." Shouichi glanced up in the sky. "There's some gaps. But it LOOKS amazing doesn't it?! He must have used the reflective beams for it, or possibly the crystallization. There's no other way to get it to appear on the sky like that."
Spanner moved his lollipop around with his tongue, thinking, the plastic stem knocked against his teeth. "The mist?"
Shouichi considered it, then shook his head. "No, I've had his holographic face pop up on my ceiling every once in a while, so I don't think it's the mist."
"…" Spanner paused. "Ceiling!Byakuran?"
Shouichi nodded.
"Was he watching you-"
"Don't ask."
