Mia doesn't want to talk about it. She's not one for talking, about relationships, about people, about past hurts. She's not vindictive either, which is why even after five years, after Brian O'Conner rolled into her life and fucked it up royally and then ditched her, she's still willing to talk to him. Mia trusts Brian, for some insane reason she can't explain, and she'll never be willing to talk about. It's funny how five years of pain, heart break, and turning down dates because she's still in love with a cop all comes to a head when her brother rolls back into town.
Five years without a word, and suddenly Brian's there in her life again, messing with her head, messing with her family. Funny how it's Letty who started it all, but that it's Dom at the heart of it. Funny that even after all these years Brian would still do just about anything for Dom.
She doesn't miss the looks Brian sends Dom, when he thinks no one is looking. Dom never is. Mia doesn't miss the irony that while she's looking at Brian, and Brian's looking at Dom, Dom's looking off into the distance at no one. Or maybe he's looking at Letty's ghost, Mia can't be sure. She doesn't miss the fact that when Dom smiles or laughs, it's generally because of something Brian said, and vice-versa. She doesn't feel like a third wheel, she's Dom's sister, and a vital part of his crew, and she's Brian's lover. Not his girlfriend, they don't date, but they have sex, and they're close.
They don't talk though. Mia doesn't want to talk about it.
