1. Fashion

I'm actually... kind of confused as to why Mandii associates me with Fashion. O_o;;; My only guess would be a) my pupe who really IS fashion conscious, or b) my habit of looking at fashion and going 'that's so 90's' or 'no, no, that really is in this fall'. I'm NOT the most stylish person in the world. When I was a kid, I thought red and pink went together. (I have the pictures to prove this) And through my teen years up until some point in HS I wore...

Well, I have a big family, so we wore hand-me-downs all the time. I didn't mind. I wore a lot, a LOT, of brown and beige during HS, up until I learned to love myself. Now I take care to keep my wardrobe well stocked. I go out every once in a while and buy new shirts. I love looking at clothes, and I've been known to go on shoe hunts over the internet, just ADORING cute or sexy shoes, and posting links to the ones I like. I don't do this for clothes so much, but I have.

...maybe THAT's why Mandii associates me with fashion?

2. Drabbling

XD I... have so fallen out of the habit of writing fic. Way, way, way back when I started fanficcing I would do this drabble challenges, and I *liked* them. Then I got into PoT and I would consider short fics, which now I would call drabbles, worth posting. whisper132 who I was a big fan of wrote a lot of fun, energetic short drabbles. They weren't limited to 100 words, they were cute, and often enough they followed a storyline between them.I was *such* a big fan.

Anyway, sometime in the beginning of 07 (damn, 2 years ago really?) Nikki posted this fabulous 10 minute drabble challenge, and I know that before that I HAD to be drabbling at her and Juu in YM. I don't know if I drabbled randomly at people in AIM, but it's a possibility. XD Anyway, Nikki did that for the rest of March 07, and in April I started posting drabbles to my LJ. Quite a bit Chitose/Tachibana, Higa, and Rikkai started pouring out.

And then sometime in August '07, just as I was starting up at school again... I began As the Racket Turns. And really, there was no saving me after that. There are no seasons.

3. Kitsuki

*cough* ahem.

It's all Rika's fault

...okay, it's not.

I don't know when the idea actually occurred to me. I believe it was when Rikkai came out and I was bemoooooooaning the lack of Shouma, and thinking about how CUTE it would be for Kite to threaten Itsuki. I'd seen pictures, or something, IDK. XD And then we got the Rokkakku ad-libs and... I. I-I-I... fell. >> Around the time I was RPing Itsuki at Konomi Complex, and Rika (who adores me) was playing Kite. A-a-and... and then I was screwed.

And then I wrote Psychic! It's such a crack pairing. XD Why do I love it so. IT DOES, however, have about 2 seconds of canon outside of the myu's.

4. Icons

Once upon a time there was a little girl who didn't know how to properly credit people for icons.

:x Okay, so that was... a long, long, long time ago, but really that was the start of why I made icons. I just clipped things so they fit LJ, and put them on my page. I didn't have photoshop, and had no idea what GIMP was. At some point I got Picasa so I could clip and shade, but that was all I could do for the longest time. Then the summer of 06... I got photoshop. I started out with just doing animated icons, because I didn't have much skill, and well animated were *fun*. I wasn't sure how people had managed to achieve the AMAZING icons they had (let's face it, I still don't understand) but it took me... a few months before I figured out how to make a small border and how to do more than crop and write text on things. Only like... 4. XD

And I've been learning ever since. >>;;; I tend to mass produce icons, or just forget to post icons until I've got like 100 sitting in my icons folder waiting to be posted. XD So everyone who was with me in '06-now has endured icon spam. ♥ Thanks for sticking around.

5. TezuFuji

See, this one will take less elaboration. Mandii doesn't like it. I do! I think I've RPed it with her though.

Uh... actually, it's kind of entertaining, but haven't I RPed TezuFuji with you Mandii? Anyway. >> When I first got into PoT the two pairings I fell for were AtoTezu and TezuFuji. I never thought I'd fall quite so HARDCORE for TezuFuji though, and I can't figure out what my original AtoTezu draw was. The relationship between Tezuka and Fuji, canonly, is just... I mean, how can you go wrong with a Stoic and a Smiler? Or a Stoic and a Sadist? Plus, they're just...

They're always *together*. Okay, not always, but they're friends. They're friends, and they have this *past* together, and there are so many scenes where they stand near each other, or look at each other, or share something... Tezuka challenges Fuji to play better tennis, and okay that's just Tezuka being Tezuka but... anime and manga Tezuka and Fuji have that dramatic 1st year match, and have been waiting ever since then. I prefer the anime's resolution of this better. It's just.... better.

And then there's the chibi!crack canon where Fuji and Tezuka are married and then Fuji is a Tezuka fangirl.

I couldn't stop shipping this if I *tried* though insane TezuFuji fangirls do make me wish I could. TezuFuji fangirls in general actually. They're... they're not the best and brightest. Though PoT hasn't been producing anything amazing in a while. I'm hoping the new series (which is getting ever closer and closer) will inspire some of the old writers, or will bring in new ones.

TezuFuji is the pairing that, I think, I own the most doujinshi of. >> Oh god guilty. XD
