Dragging Hiyoshi through Hyotei's building had been a pain in the ass. Granted, all the psychics in the building were still reeling from being so close to the explosion of Atobe's mind without any warning, but Kite was also being affected and the last thing he needed was to run into someone who knew he shouldn't be there. Thankfully those closest to the mental blast caused by Atobe's death were the ones most affected, and the ones Kite would have had to worry about.
Kite was a little worried when they reached the exits. Surely Hyotei had non-psychic guards working for them in case of such an emergency? Most of the bulky guard staff seemed busy helping out limping and confused psychics though, they barely gave Kite a passing glance.
"My head," Hiyoshi muttered, stumbling when he tried to walk on his own. Kite adjusted his hold on Hiyoshi and continued heading away from Hyotei, "fuck you, Eishirou."
"Be grateful I'm getting you out of there." Kite's own shields were rattling loose around his skull, but thankfully he wasn't broadcasting like a radio transceiver. "Or would you rather be incarcerated and subjected to Hyotei's tender mercies?"
"Whatever." Hiyoshi pushed Kite's arm off, a little wobbly but managing to stand on his own. "We all know you did it because you were worried I'd crack."
A valid point, Wakashi had always been the weaker of them.
"Get in the cab." Kite muttered, signaling for one and shoving Hiyoshi inside of it.
Aoi and Davide had been the closest when he heard Itsuki's shout, Itsuki's distinctive train whistle call rebounding in the empty space between his ears. Everyone else was off doing things, and it was a lucky thing that Itsuki had been so close to Davide's apartment (only ten minutes by car!) "Ittchan!" Aoi was a little surprised at Itsuki's… well, he'd been a hostage, keeping him naked probably made sense, but it wasn't safe for Ittchan to be running around naked. Aoi was glad Davide's car had tinted windows though.
"Aoi." Itsuki smiled, and it was like Aoi was the first, well, Aoi probably was the first friendly face Itsuki had seen in days.
"Davide we should head home."
Davide was looking at Itsuki, kind of confused, but his face brightened up when Aoi took off his sweatshirt and handed it to Itsuki to cover himself with.
"Why are you covering up? If you say you have bad skin, that's a pore excuse."
