Checking my flist while I'm aware of my dad in the other room makes me go 'SCROLL PAST THE MANLOVE, phew all, CRAP MORE MANLOVE'

XDDDDDDDD

Chyea. Anyway! I'm making Christmas Cookies today, and so I've decided to share the most FABULOUS Christmas cookie recipe known to man. These are not just sugar cookies, they're not tasteless until you add frosting. These are FABULOUS cookies.

Celebration Cookies

Cream - 1 Cup Butter or Margarine
              - 1+3/4 cups sugar
Add       - 2 well beaten eggs
              - 2 tsp. vanilla
              - 4 Tbsp. Brandy
Sift        - 3 cups flower
              - 1/2 tsp salt
Add       - 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds

If necessary add mroe sifted flour, a little at a time to up to 1/2 cup, to make dough stiffer. Chill at least 4 hours. Roll out and cut into fancy shapes. Bake at 375F for 10 minutes. Frost however you choose. (Should make around 6 dozen cookies. Depending on how thick you roll them, and how small your shapes are.)

Dooooooon't use good brandy. That'll cook out, and part of the fun is the taste of brandy. Though it's still good even if you use good brandy.

Also, you can follow the directions, as they prolly matter ;x but I tend to add EVERYTHING AT ONCE. >_< Which, okay, makes it a pain in the ass to stir. Shhh. They still taste delicious. AND NOW. I'm off to make banana bread? Or to find a chicken and broccoli recipe for dinner.
