kat8chamojotmonkeycredited for the twins!There was a distinct smell to young boys. It was a mix of piss, sweat, and whatever the child had eaten in the past 24 hours.
The warm wet heat of the apartment, radiators really were horrible, made the stink worse. Ryou pushed his pony tail over one shoulder and was glad he had the good sense to put it back in a pony tail today. Baby Kaoru was cute, and did not smell quite as bad as her older brothers, but she did like to grab and pull. She smiled a lot though so Ryou put up with it.
The twins, Gaku and Hiro, were active little boys with snot encrusted noses and dirty hands. They did not need much looking after though and Ryou was glad the most he had to do was turn this or that on, make them some food, and turn this or that off.
“Hey, Ryou.” Bane poked Ryou in the side and Ryou realized he had dozed off while sitting on the couch. Bane grinned, his breath smelling faintly of liquor. “I guess I was out later than I expected.”
Ryou glanced at the clock, it was two AM. Ryou’s roommate was going to kill him. “Mizuki’s a real bitch when I disturb his beauty sleep. You better have had a good time.”
Bane flopped down onto the couch next to Ryou and Bane’s arm mysteriously found its way around Ryou’s shoulders. “Relax, Ryou, and don’t get on my case like Ittchan. I’m dating, I’m fine, I don’t need to get out more.” Ryou shot Bane a narrow-eyed glare. Bane grinned widely.
“Hey, I’m not broken hearted over Kairi-chan alright? She wasn’t the right one.”
Ryou snorted and pulled his pony tail out from where it was trapped between his back and Bane’s arm. “I’ll believe you when you stop bringing home girls who look like her.”
Bane leered and leaned in close. “Should I bring home boys then?”
Ryou pushed Bane off and stood up. “Don’t fuck your babysitters Bane, it’s low class.”
