kat8cha"Kirihara." Renji sighed, shaking the piece of paper at the second year.
Kirihara was struggling with a rubix cube that Marui had given him earlier. Renji was sure Kirihara wouldn't have cared about solving the puzzle if Marui hadn't whispered into Kirihara's ear that if he figured it out, without breaking the cube, he would be getting a special treat. Yanagi had an extensive list of Marui's 'special treats' both the ones Marui gave out, the ones Marui appreciated, and the ones Kirihara imagined behind locked doors. Yanagi even had a list of 'special treats' that Niou imagined… and a list of his own private fantasies. Pulling himself back from uncharacteristic mental wanderings Renji blocked Kirihara's view of the plastic toy with the paper in his hand.
"Kirihara. Your teacher gave this to me earlier." 'Angrily thrust into his face while blustering about how he couldn't possibly pass the little bastard now' might be more accurate. Yanagi hadn't appreciated the teacher calling Kirihara names and told him so.
Not that Yanagi didn't call Kirihara unsavory things once in a while, but only under his breath.
"Oh yeah?" Kirihara grinned, pushing Yanagi's hand away. "Isn't it great?"
Yanagi sighed, pointing at the large 0 in the top corner. "Akaya, this is supposed to be your English report."
"It is!" Kirihara whooped when he finally got a row of yellow lined up, scowling when he realized that he would need to break the yellow row in order to get green.
"This is an LOLcat." Yanagi felt one of those Kirihara inspired headaches beginning to bloom behind his sinuses.
Kirihara just smiled.
Snatching the rubix cube away Yanagi held it behind his back. "Redo the report and I'll do the rubix cube for you."
Kirihara paused in the middle of lunging at Yanagi, an action which caused him to fall flat on the floor. "Really? You won't tell Marui-senpai you were the one who did it?"
"I swear." Watching Kirihara bounce over to his back and dig out his notebook and a pen Yanagi decided that he'd need to get Marui to join in bribing Kirihara for good grades. A few 'special treats' might even keep Kirihara awake during class.
