kat8chaWell, I had wanted to get this up before midnight.... but we can all see I failed. Sorry guys, it's been a LONG day. Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway.
The start of K8's ship week! Da da da DAAAAAAAAAAA!
First stop on this wild and wacky tour is Seigaku! More importantly... TezuFuji! Now I know, some of you are thinking 'yuck TezuFuji' or maybe none of you are thinking that, and it's highly probable none of you are wondering why the hell I'd ship TezuFuji. :D But I'll tell you anyway.
It's an amazing pairing. While lately I feel that a lot of TezuFuji's just recycling stuff they're a whole BUNCH of new stuff out there for TezuFuji fans to use! And write! We have all sorts of plotbunnies to spawn and fics to create. TezuFuji does *not* get old. It's been explored, sure, but we get to explore it anew every time we play with them! They're full of all sorts of nooks and crannies (like good english muffins. They go well with butter too) and facets. TF is a pairing that never fails to make me smile when I see it, and a lot of times has me shaking my head and going 'oh boys....'
I like writing them too, which is a plus. If I don't get a muse for things then I just can't write them. Tezuka muse appeared first and spent a great deal of time strapped to my bed while I poked and prodded and kept him from running away. Fuji muse showed up after, actually, possibly prompted by the fact that tying up Tezuka muse had done NOTHING for my creative juices. Obviously a little more action was needed. Tezuka!Muse is still around, but mainly because Fuji!muse likes him.
For one thing, they were the first pair I really hard core loved and saw the reason behind. Anyone who pays attention to my journal knows it was AtoTezu that started me off, but it was TezuFuji that sucked me in. When I finally started watching/reading PoT they were the first ship I was like 'man, I like this' too. Tezuka and Fuji have this odd habit of being totally awesome.
Let's take the chibi episodes
Not only does Fuji become a Tezuka fangirl who Tezuka has to rescue, but they are also married! With kids! And it so works! XD

Because hey, you totally know Tezuka and Fuji are looking for a good spot for a quicky, and here's this random guys asking if they got some. You know it happens. Srsly. All the time. Also, you notice that Tezuka and Fuji really *do* spend a lot of time standing next to each other at matches and the like. I think, instead of perfect pair they should have been called 'stand together' pair. Not that the pair name would be any less annoying or confusing.
So yeah, you say, so what? Tezuka and Fuji also TALK. Well, more Fuji talks and Tezuka listens, but it still happens. Tezuka has a tendency to pinpoint what's been irking Fuji as well. They're close!
They're also always finding out new things about each other. Like Tezuka didn't know Fuji was a sauce man. ^_~ oh Tezuka, save the flirting for the bedroom!
The fandom of TezuFuji is also a really nice place to be. We produce some really cool stuff. And the boys in bed? Hot hot hot stuff.
