kat8chaSo, today was daddy's birthday right? Well, I just spent close to 8 hours with family. -_- 2 I spent with Dad, driving him around, getting him lunch, going shopping with my stoned out father, and then I had a bit of a break. After that I had to start on the lasagna which was what Dad wanted for his birthday dinner. He was watching Indiana Jones Raiders of the Ark and I watched that while not cooking. Juliet came home and helped out with the lasagna (she nearly brained me with a spoon because I kept fixing how she spread the ricotta cheese and complaining about how she was slow) and set the table. Then we waited and stuff for Matt, Maggie, and Marian to get over for dinner.
Meh, my lasagna needed more flavoring. It was pretty bland. I also miss having spinach in my lasagna :(
The cake Dad had bought for himself was honestly about 4 pounds. It was german chocolate, and I immediately declined. XD No cake for me! I did eat a few bites of Mom's though, because she ate the icing and filling but can't eat wheat so can't eat cake. I was eating more of the veggie chips (yummy) and the jalepeno humus (omg fantastic). Dad liked his presents, and he'll probably watch Pan's Labyrinth while stoned out of his mind. XD The med's he's on are screwing with him. Then Maggie opened up a DVD of pictures of her wedding which took a) forever to load and b) forever to watch. @_@ I did dishes and put food away while it loaded.
And now I'm back with you guys! ~cling cuddle~
Oh, my father made the brilliant remark today that Jesse on Full House had to be bi-sexual. ~amused~ He was talking to Juliet about how she should write a paper on how the homosexual's writing Full House impacted society. (Note - my father is just a bit of a homophobe) I tossed a pillow at him. I was laughing though because hey, if you looked at it like that... then yeah. There's gay hints. It's slashable. I told dad 'Jesse did get married and have twins'. To which my father said 'well maybe he's bi, but no straight man spends that time primping himself'.
My father.... >_<;;; He only gets worse when he's on meds really. It's kinda like giving my mother wine. Give mom wine and all the sudden you hear all SORTS of things.
Unfortunately this means I need to go track down some Full House slash. I think Jesse/Joey'd be a pretty common pairing.
