The rain had made Adachi's eyeliner run, was the first thing Zukki thought as he stood in the door to his apartment.
"Where's your umbrella?" Was the first thing Zukki asked, still blocking his apartment. He was not doing it to be rude, or to make Adachi stand in the rain more then he was, it was merely because Zukki hadn't realized he needed to move to let Adachi inside. His brain had frozen the minute he had opened his door to a drenched, shivering Adachi in a soaked white shirt.
Adachi's nipples were showing.
"Forgot it." Adachi rubbed at his cheeks, as if to rub away tears. If Adachi had been crying the tear tracks were undoubtedly destroyed by the rain already. "Just like my cell phone and your number." A shiver ripped through Adachi and Zukki grabbed him, pulling him into the apartment.
"You should have called information and stayed somewhere warm." Adachi's shoulders felt so frail under his arms. Zukki wondered why would have driven the boy to make the trip to Zukki's house in the rain without an umbrella or coat, and knew the answer. He didn't want to admit to himself that there was only one person who could make Adachi do this though.
"C'mon, you're wearing 3 pounds of clothes with water weight, and you're dripping on my floor." Zukki grabbed the edge of Adachi's wet shirt, pulling it off with a west ripping sound. Adachi's chest was slick with rainwater and Zukki had to wrench his eyes away, staring instead at the wet dripping fabric in his hands. Staring at Adachi was dangerous, Zukki never knew what it would make him do.
