May. 7th, 2011 09:59 pmSo today I went to Steampunk City! It's an event organized by the local museum and, obviously, some steampunk circles.
I bought my button JUST before the downpour started so... -_-; I didn't get a big chance to explore the outdoor booths. I'll hit up the indoor vendors tomorrow, instead I went to the library and sat in on a couple of panels!
They were fuuuuuuuuuuuun.
My sister and her husband had an Anniversary and 5th of May party tonight too (their anniversary is on the 5th of May, but that was mid-week so...) and it had to be held inside because of the rain too.
I don't think my sister's realized that I spend a lot of time with kids. There were two boys (maybe around 3?) who were being loud and noisy and bouncy and I chilled and played with them and read them a few stories and got them to calm down a bit instead of feeding off each other's energy.
Because it's what I'm goooooooooood at. >>
