(no subject)

So, today was crap. Like, really. At least it wasn't ungodly hot, but STILL.

To illustrate how, at the end of the day, my entire family and I were zombies...

My sister Marian came over for dinner and afterward Mom, Marian and I were sitting on the porch drinking tea. I walk inside to go use the bathroom.

Me: /walks past TV, pauses
Me: /looks at Dad
Me: ...are they speaking Spanish?
Dad: .../looks at TV
Dad: /looks at me
Dad: ...damn.

And I just started cracking up. Seriously, subtitles and everything and it STILL took us a minute. It wasn't even like it was hard to place.
