When a voter says 'this is supposed do be a secret ballot' you don't laugh at them. When said voter then starts to get irritated, you do not CONTINUE to laugh at them. You don't call them crazy, or say that they're overreacting. You apologize. You don't continue to talk about them (LOUDLY) while they're standing out by the door, calling the election's officials.
When there is STILL A VOTER IN THE ROOM don't start loudly trying to get things ready or talking about closing the polls.
When your math is wrong *your math is wrong*. I understand that counting up 100 or 200 signatures is hard.
Harder than counting up some 300 paper ballots? Possibly. Did it take me slightly more time than you? Yes. DID YOU DO YOUR COUNT ACCURATELY THE FIRST SECOND OR THIRD TIME?
No.

...this year was very frustrating. We not only filled our first Pink sheet with problems, but we started to write up issues in our second pink sheet. Some were human error, others were things that *should* have been avoidable.
