Dear. Fucking. Christ.
Waaaaaay to be a wet blanket mom.
IDK what got under Mom's skin, whether it was spending yesterday and today with Beaumont kids, or if it's just the fact that Juliet's body modification really gets under her skin.
Granted, Juliet's suicidal urges, her cutting, her drinking, and her smoking worry me too.
Juliet being unable to make her therapist appointments, find the birth control pills in the health office, or get a job are also worrisome.
But they hair dye, the facial piercings? The tattoo and the belly button ring?
Like I care. It's her body, it's not going to kill her, if she feels like dealing with her issues by punching herself full of holes then that's *fine*. If that's her way of expressing herself there shouldn't be any problem with it! SHE IS WORKING THROUGH HER OWN ISSUES MOM
I KNOW YOU DON'T WANT TO BE AN ENABLER
BUT JESUS CHRIST
Your confrontations NEVER help your fucking children. In fact, they generally depress the fuck out of your family and make everyone fucking run and hide from you.
*le. sigh.*
There is the hope that when I finally get my life together I'll be able to speak my mind to my mother. Eventually. Without bursting into tears.
And is it any wonder Juliet wants to be home but doesn't want to spend any time AT home if she's greeted with an interrogation five seconds after getting into the house?
(Though to be fair, she said she'd be home around 5, so I said she'd be home between 5 and 6, she called/was called several times and she said she'd be home in 5 minutes, and she didn't set foot in the house until after 7. So THAT didn't soothe Mom's temper at all.)
>> Christ, if Juliet backs out of going to Columbus with Dad then I'm certainly going!
