:D I suck at getting things.

XD I'm always pleasantly surprised when people give me gifts, especially internet people. I have no idea WHY it's just AWESOME to me. XD

My family, however, will tell you I suck at asking for shit. And I do. I truly do.

Mother: So what do you want for your birthday?
Me: ...I thought you guys weren't buying me a present this year?
Mother: >>;;;;
Me: You can buy me my schoolbooks, if you want. :D

Dad says that's not a proper birthday gift.

Sister: ~on phone~ So what do you want for your birthday?
Me: ...um, you don't have to get me anything.
Sister: >> ...it's your 21st right? OMY YOU'RE TURNING 21!!!!
Me: >> You don't have to buy me booze. It's not like I'll drink it.
