Jun. 6th, 2008 04:19 pmSo. I wake up this morning and I'm like 'fuck pants, I need to go in and see Judy and it's HOT I'm gonna wear a skirt'. Forgetting of course that my thighs rub against each other in the skirt and it's not going to be pleasant in this heat. That's okay b/c my dad offers to drop me at the Rapid station and I'm like 'okay, I'll go in, see Judy, and call him for a ride when I come back.'
Then (after realizing ARGH I lost the little rubber protector thing on my earbuds) Judy calls my cellphone. I'm like 'well, this can't be good -_-' so she's calling it off. B/c otherwise I'll be downtown and loitering till 3, and THEN will start on work and well... -_-;;; Do I want to be there till like 6? Not really. >> Neither does Judy. So it's been put off till Monday.
The train's going to be coming soon though and I've been wanting to pick up The Bone Key from the Tower City Walden Book's b/c I know I've seen it there. So I take the train down... and the book isn't in stock. DDDDDDDD:
Then I go to FYE and ask if they have headphones that go into a phone. They don't, but they have a nifty adaptor thing. :D I buy that. They also have 3 dollar head phones on sale. I should have bought the 10 dollar Coby. Or the 12 dollar 3-1 Coby set. I at least know Coby'll last me a few months. These didn't even last till they were out of the BOX. The left earbudd doesn't work. -__________-; I don't find that out till I'm at Shaker Square though.
So I go to Shaker Square and grab some lunch and decide to walk home. After all it's warm, yeah, but it's not TOO warm (I didn't think) and also I didn't want to buy a 4 dollar all day pass since I was only using the Rapid twice. So after I got off at Shaker I had already decided to walk.
It was a nice walk! ...at first. At about 2 miles I was starting to get... a little dizzy. And I'd consume my water, and my thighs were not happy about rubbing together. Also, I get irritated when people stare at me from their cars. Makes me want to shout 'GET YOUR EYES OFF MY TITS'. Anyway, at about 3 miles I'm feeling the heat exhaustion set in. I'm one of those people who gets heat stroke at the drop of a hat so I was like 'this is a bad, bad idea, but I shall persist!'. ...at 4 miles I was ready for a cold shower. Instead I went upstairs, stripped off and ran cold water over my arms and put a wash cloth on my face. Then I went and drank some cold water.
Once I didn't feel like passing out I convinced my little sister to help me clean the fans and go outside for some badminton and volleyball!
Yes, I'm insane. No, there's nothing you can do to cure it. :D Thanks for asking.
