May. 18th, 2008 06:18 pmToday was EXCITING. From Pirates (last night/this morning) to Hippies!
Mikey's Pirate party was AMAZING and FUN and I had so much fun. (I love when RL reminds me that the internet is lame sometimes)
I'll be honest, I'm not a better person for seeing At World's End, but at least the internet makes a little more sense now. No pictures of my costume (sorry guys!) but maybe when Meg gets them up we'll see. ...Which means I need to find Meg's facebook. D'OH. (And possibly I should stalk the other people I met.)
Anyway, we watched all three PoTC movies. The first one we watched inside, paused it to go have boat races (during which I got left on the docks) and then came back to and ate dinner while watching it. The second one we had set up for earlier to watch outside. Basically we had like, a mast tied to Michael's deck, and we'd put up a white sail to project the movie on. It was COOOOLD. XD Michael sat behind me and wrapped me in his coat. <3 There's a reason I love this boy. Well, besides the fact that he's AMAZING and sweet and made a TENTACLE MASK for himself.
Then we all bunked down to sleep... which was not entirely pleasant for me but you know me. ^^; Anyway...
Woke up! Ate a delicious breakfast! Helped clean up a bit and then Mikey drove me home. Then, then, took a shower and prepped so I could go to Hessler Street Fair. Hippie fest! Srsly, Hippie fest. I wandered around, talked to some people, and waited for Traci to come. :D Of course the minute she showed up I met up with a bunch of people. >< I bought a ring, and some more politically incorrect pins. And I flirted with this ADORABLE flutist. While waiting for Tracy I had seen him play, but uh, yeah, I was like 'so, was that beat box fluting earlier?' And he was like 'only on accident'. And uh. Yeah. He was CUTE. His name's Matt. And I introduced myself as 'Kat' followed by 'we rhyme'. Oh... me. >< I wanna facebook friend him (OMG I found him despite his impossible last name) but I feel kind of creepy for doing that.
