Tachibana slurped on his soda as he walked behind Chitose in the mall. It was a pretty lame mall, all things considered, but the food court had a decent selection of junk food. 

Looking around Tachibana checked out a few girls wandering around in short skirts, it would suck if those skirts were fashionable, it would mean Tachibana would have to burn An’s. An always got upset when Tachibana destroyed her indecent clothing.

 

Walking a few stores farther Tachibana stopped when he realized he’d lost his tall gangly scarecrow.

 

“Yo, Chitose.” Tachibana turned around, jogging back to where Chitose was checking out a store window. “What’re you looking at?”

 

“Hm?” Chitose stood pondering Piercing Pagoda’s earring display. “Hey, you think that silver one’d look good on me?”

 

“With your c-” Tachibana stopped himself from sounding obviously gay. Obviously hanging out with Chitose daily was bad for him. “Go with the gold.” Chitose laughed, wrapping an arm around Tachibana and hauling him close.

 

“Okay, but you gotta watch.”

 

“What?!” Tachibana squawked as he was dragged into the shop. A few people turned to stare and Tachibana blushed red, hiding behind his long hair.

 

“Think of it as practice for when An gets her ears pierced.” Chitose replied jovially. “C’mon you baby, all you have to do is stand there.”
