tabaqui!!! Yay!!!
Okay, lets just say first off- I love you work. Really really love it. While I may not like Changes she still has a bunch of other stories I love. Like her 'Nine Lives' series. I soooooo fell in love with 'Stray Cat Strut'. Man, she writes a really sexy Spike!! Then there's Soldier, which is pretty cool and Remember which rocks my socks! I think my favorite though is Credence. It's basically AU with Spike chipless and finding a hurting Oz and a Xander who's hyena keeps getting the best of him. It's intense and wonderful and interspersed with bits and peices from literature. Tab seems to have a bit of a kink for Watership Down, ~shrug~ It shows up in Credence and Hero. Hero is a heartwrenching human AU where Xander is kinda nuts, and thinks that the real world is .... well BtVS. It's sad and makes me cry and then smile and then cry while grinning like a loon.
Tab has a habit of writing really *really* good hurt/comfort. And her Spike characterization is always on the ball all gruff and tuff with a heart of gold. And she writes Xander so sweetly.
And then of course there's Compass Rose, which royally kicks ass! I personally like this part of the first chapter; "

And let's not forget And Ice for your Wounded Heart, which was written
for the Fairytale Fractured Ficathon and always makes me grin when a
new chappie comes up. it's cool and wonderful and dark.
