The ship was sparkling, *sparkling*, when Sengoku made his way back to it. That was because Muromachi was really, honestly, just that good a ship doctor. Or a mechanic, whatever he was calling himself. Sengoku patted the side of the ship by the gangplank as he lazily strolled his way inside, whistling a merry, cherry, 'I just got laid' tune. All the worries he'd had before rounds 2, 3, 4, and 6 (five had gone missing) had been thoroughly destroyed by damn feisty sex.
Mmm, feisty sex.
Coming on a conclave of space pirates Sengoku blinked. Higa's men, minus Chinen, and Minami, Higashikata, Muromachi, and Dan were all gathered around the tiny, tiny, tiny conference table. Well, Higashikata, Minami, Dan, Rin, Kai, and Shiranui were gathered at the conference table, Muromachi, Kite, and Aragaki were leaning against the walls. "So." Sengoku stuck his hands in his pockets, half the group's eyes looked his way. "What did I miss?"
Because this was far too serious a situation for something not to have happened.
"Hiyoshi got picked up by Rikkai's psychics." Minami scrubbed through his hair, making the spikes even spikier.
"Unlucky…" Oh, right, they were harboring potentially wanted, potentially dangerous criminals. Except Hiyoshi, even taking account what shapes he could bend his body into, had never seemed dangerous to Sengoku. More like he was someone who the world just kept beating down whenever he tried to stand up. Had he tried to stand up while on Rikkai's moon base? That had obviously been the problem.
"Nothing ties him to you guys except the fact he came off your ship." Shiranui stated, bringing up several holo clips. "Any evidence directly linking him to us, or him to you, or him to Atobe's death has been taken care of."
Sengoku whistled. That took a lot of talent, time, and effort. Sure, he had known that Higa had a good clean up crew, but there were some holo channels that were so securely locked you couldn't get a hair pin in them. "So, are we doing a cut and run or a rescue mission?"
Kite pushed himself up off the wall. "I believe you have an in with one of Rikkai's esteemed psychics."
Damn, it was going to suck if this meant Sengoku lost Kirihara… but hey maybe he would be able to sneak that threesome in.
