"Ah." Byakuran smiled when the white haired man entered the room. "Niou Masaharu." Byakuran waved his subordinates away and signaled for Niou to come closer. Niou was slightly older than him, but Byakuran was taller. When the two stood side by side one might mistake them for brothers, with their similar complexions and spiked white hair. Niou was dressed in a sharp suit, navy blue with blue and white striped tie. Byakuran in his white and black outfit did not match him at all.
"Byakuran." Niou greeted Byakuran with a fox smile, which Byakuran returned.
"I suppose you're here on Yukimura's business." Byakuran leaned over and braced his fingers on the table. "Pity."
Niou's fox smile took on a knife's edge. "I would love to see you on my own business, Byakuran, but then there would be no more business between us."
Byakuran's smile stayed sweet. Yukimura's subordinates were all trained assassins, although only a few of them carried out actual executions. Byakuran knew all about Yukimura's group, he had to if he wished to make headway in Kanegawa. "The head of your family is the only one with a level head on his shoulders." Byakuran pushed himself off of the table and stepped close to Niou. "What word have you come to deliver this time? An answer to my proposal?"
"It's still no." Niou spoke between gritted teeth, his eyes sparkling from under dark lashes. "Yukimura would also like you to know that your subordinates have quite 'lost their heads'." Niou paused. "Oops."
