Shouichi's chest burns and his vision is hazy. There are dark circles under his eyes from sleep deprivation. It's been a week since Byakuran stole the base away. It seems like it's been less than that, and he hasn't slept since. The burning and hazy vision aren't all the fault of sleeplessness. Byakuran's ring glows orange again as he flings yet another blast of orange sky flame at the Vongola. The Vongola are scattered, distracted, and easy pickings for the Millefiore's Funeral Wreath's. Shouichi sees this all as he falls to his knees, then to the floor.
His chest hurts.
