Oops. Yukimura drops the chilly word in Yanagi's mind, causing the generally patient man grit his teeth and smother a spike of irrational anger. Irrational because he had a perfectly good reason to be angry, the bomb going off and trapping Kirihara and Hiyoshi in either the somnapath's dreamscape or in each other's minds. Aren't you supposed to know everything, Renji?

Seiichi… Yanagi hoped that Yukimura could feel the headache building in his temples. I'm not that strong a pre-cog.

Mmmm. A rumble from Sanada, tinged with amusement.

Akaya and Hiyoshi are passed out here in the medical bay. Yanagi could hear Sengoku's loud thoughts in the back of his head. T he red head was hovering in the doorway to the medlab. "Sengoku. Come in."

There was a faint trembling response to Yanagi's next brush over Kirihara's shields and he breathed a sigh of relief. They're fine.

We've arrived at the docks. Yukimura's mental voice was undercut by a low possessive thrum. It looks like they've retreated for now.

Medical necessity. Marui's voice cut into their chatter. They were really shaken up by that explosion. What WAS that?

Yanagi let the conversation fade so that it sat at the back of his mind, a quarter of his attention focused on it and the rest of the team's situation while he dealt with things in front of him. First he checked on Kirihara, who was rousing just slightly, and then he turned to Sengoku. Sengoku was standing awkwardly at the foot of Kirihara's bed, and he was glancing between the two unconscious parties. He was also thinking rather loudly.

Need to know how it went. Don't think about Rin and Kai. Don't think about the ship. Ah damn, I hope they're okay. Never even got that chance for a threesome…

That headache was really beginning to bloom like a thundercloud. "Sengoku."

Sengoku glanced at Yanagi, surprised, like he had forgotten Yanagi was there.

"Sit."

Obediently, Sengoku fell back into one of the uncomfortable chairs littered about the medlab. Yanagi's lips flickered into a smile, briefly.

"Now. Stay." He began to leave before he turned and walked back to Sengoku. "Hand."

Sengoku, looking more confused by the second, raised his right hand. It took all of Yanagi's fortitude not to say 'good dog' and shake it. Instead he activated the communication chip embedded in Sengoku's wrist.

"Call your crew. You won't need to flee, our fight isn't with you." Then Yanagi once again turned and made his way out of the room, he hesitated briefly at the door before continuing on. He didn't need to advice Sengoku against doing anything untoward to the two young men, did he? Surely Sengoku had some sense of propriety.

Atsushi pulled Yanagisawa close. His hands were covered in blood, and Shinya had blood splattered over his chin. It would be so easy to have conducted the heat cleanly, to have kept it bloodless. It would also be easy to clean the blood off the two of them, possibly on the clothes of the quickly cooling body nearby. Instead Atsushi licked it off of Yanagisawa's chin and pushed Shinya up against the wall, leaving bloody handprints on the other's clothes.

"Atsushi," Shinya moaned, and Atsushi smiled at him while sliding to his knees. Shinya's body was shaking slightly, taxed by the mental effort he had put forth in bringing down their latest traitor. If Atsushi wasn't around he was sure that the other psychic would have run himself into the ground already.

"Shinya," Atsushi dragged the zipper of Yanagisawa's pants down. "Let me take care of-"

An alarm rang, startling Atsushi out of his nap and dropping him onto the floor. He could feel something… something off. He wasn't sure what. But the flashing light in the corner of his eye meant that Mizuki needed him. Straightening his clothes Atsushi also glanced in the mirror to check for drool on his cheek. Deciding he looks fine he rushed out the door and towards the gang plank.

Mizuki and his entourage were stumbling up from the surface looking the worse for wear. On his way Atsushi had noticed a few passed out members of the church here and there, others just bleeding or looking confused.

"What happened?"

Atsushi rushed to Mizuki first, checking the other man's mind and body thoroughly.

"Thought bomb." Atobe Keigo, who really should be more grateful that Atsushi was able to bring him back from the brink of death and hadn't done enough to thank the church at ALL, said. "They were supposed to have all been destroyed."

"Well," Mizuki said, sounding quite testy. "Obviously you missed one."
