Niou lay on his stomach in the Sanada family dojo, his tank top rucked up and his stomach pressed against the cool wood floor. Niou's elbows dug into the floor too, aching a bit from the pressure of hard wood against bony elbows. Sweat made the back of Niou's tank top cling to his scrawny frame. Everyone was stripping down, sweating from the work out that Sanada had just put them through. The chill fall air made the dojo unnaturally cool, but when Sanada felt like kicking butt no one in Rikkai could match his pace.
Except for Yanagi and Yukimura, but Niou was pretty sure there was a hive mind/government cloning thing going on with those three.
Jackal, Kirihara, and Marui chattered about what they were going to go eat once Sanada let them go. Yagyuu calmly began to put his borrowed equipment away.
Niou, however, was busy. Not with just lazing around, but busy with something far more important.
You see, he was contemplating Sanada's stone.
"Niou, what are you doing?" Yukimura's mildly exasperated voice, and then pressure on Niou's back when his captain straddled his waste. "Mmm? Is that Sanada's family's stone?"
"The family rock, yup." Niou tapped at it. "Just thinking about it. You know, and what it does."
Yukimura's hands fell on Niou's shoulders and began massaging the muscles there. Niou had to fight not to 'puri' and collapse to the floor. Yukimura had *really* strong hand muscles. "What have you come up with?"
"I think it's a toadstone." Niou groaned when Yukimura worked out one really kinky spot in his back, and the rest of the team turned to look. "Gives vice-captain magical powers. You know. Like his backhand."
"Sanada's backhand isn't magical, Niou." Yukimura lifted off and ruffled Niou's hair. "I'm not saying that carrying around the stone hasn't helped it though."
Except for Yanagi and Yukimura, but Niou was pretty sure there was a hive mind/government cloning thing going on with those three.
