MMM BLOOD :F
Minami ignored the tall creepy guy. Minami did not even know the man’s name.
The man… no, the vampire. The vampire had been trying to get Minami to drink suspiciously bloody drinks. He said the hunger was going to get to Minami eventually, just like it had gotten to Minami when he… when he…
When he bit Sengoku.
Minami shuddered, hauling the blankets on the bed closer to him. He felt so cold, but Minami bet it was because of shock. Technically Minami was dead already and should not be able to feel cold or warm. Minami was tired too but if Minami fell asleep that vampire might come in and try to feed him again. Minami had to stay awake…
The door to the room opened and closed with a quiet squeak and then a click. “You have to eat.” It was the tall vampire, the man who had jumped him in the alley, the animal that had turned Minami into what he was now. “Otherwise you’re going to die.”
“I’m dead already.” Minami muttered into his knees. Minami squeezed his eyes shut when the tall vampire stepped closer to the bed. The mattress dipped slightly, and Minami squeezed his eyes tight enough for starbursts to erupt on the back of his eyelids. “I’m dead and it’s your fault.”
The tall vampire sighed and Minami felt something eat away at his insides. Guilt? No, Minami should not feel guilty about this. And weren’t vampires supposed to be amoral beings anyway?
“My name is Higashikata. Higashikata, Masami.” Minami snorted. Like he cared about Higashikata’s name. “I just thought you should know before I did this.”
And then there was that sweet metallic scent again, the scent that made hunger bubble up in Minami’s stomach and course through his body. Minami’s fangs pricked at his bottom lip and he opened his eyes to find a bleeding wrist hovering in front of his mouth. Not caring to think about where the blood came from or who the wrist belonged to Minami latched on, sucking from the wound.
--
It felt so good to have Minami clinging to his wrist, sucking his blood down like it was the first meal he had eaten in days. It was the first meal Minami had eaten in days. At first Higashikata had tried to get some blood from a blood bank into him, but that had not worked, Higashikata had even tried tomato juiced mixed with a little blood knowing that some older vampires preferred it when they could not get real blood all the time. Minami had not been tempted at all. There had been the option of picking up someone from the street, a vampire junkie or a lycanthrope in need of some cash but Higashikata did not know how in control Minami was. Minami had been starving himself so he would have even less control of his hunger then before.
Higashikata remembered his first days after being turned into a vampire, the hunger gnawing at his stomach while he waited for his master. His master had never come back, and Higashikata had been hours away from becoming dust when Akutsu had found him. The first thing Akutsu did was feed Higashikata blood from his wrist. Apparently blood from your master was supposed to imprint you to him, but it was rarely used unless the vampire was disobedient. Akutsu had used it on Higashikata because Higashikata was not a vampire of Akutsu’s line.
Now with Minami acting the way he was Higashikata had no choice. Maybe Minami would be more reasonable after this, less likely to resist when Higashikata brought him blood.
Higashikata hoped so. He was starting to get dizzy from blood loss and he had only just begun feeding Minami.
