"Are you really going to transfer?" I
tsuki questioned. He was sitting on the edge of Atsushi's bed. Atsushi was sitting at his desk, swiveling his desk chair back and forth as he pondered the forms in front of him.
"Maybe." Atsushi shrugged.
Itsuki frowned, that wasn't an answer to his question. "Why?"
Atsushi laughed, spinning his chair around to face Itsuki. Glancing at Ryou's neatly made bed on the other side of the room Atsushi shrugged again. "No reason." Ryou's side of the room was always picture perfect. Atsushi tried to keep his own side as clean, but he usually failed.
Itsuki glanced down at his hands, which Itsuki had folded neatly on his lap so he wouldn't give into the temptation to touch anything in the twin's creepily organized room, and then back up at Atsushi. He repeated this process a few times before Atsushi gave an aggrieved sigh and quirked an eyebrow.
"Ryou-kun and Sae-san are the only two second years who made the regulars… you're not the only one who is disappointed." It was the reason Atsushi, Itsuki, Bane, and Shudou had been training extra hard, harder then the regulars even, so that next year they would make the team. It was tough being left behind like that, because even though they still hung out together there was some sort of gap between the regulars and the non-regulars.
Atsushi defensively ducked behind his hair. "It's not just that."
Itsuki prepared to ask more questions, but stopped when he noticed the way Atsushi was hiding. No matter how many questions Itsuki asked he knew he wouldn't get an answer right now, he'd only get kicked out of the house. Itsuki let out a sad defeated whistle through his nose. "I'll miss you." Itsuki stated quietly.
Atsushi laughed, moving from the chair to sit beside Itsuki on the bed. "Kusu, kusu," Atsushi poked the side of Itsuki's nose before imitating the other's voice. "Why?"
Itsuki snorted and both teens grinned at each other before toppling back onto the bed laughing.
"Maybe." Atsushi shrugged.
