"So." Gareki started. "We're stranded."
Yogi looked from Gareki's sullen gaze to the damaged slightly smoking wreck that used to be a ship to the wide expanse of ocean and the darkening sky. "I wouldn't say *stranded* Gareki."
"Stranded." Gareki replied dead pan. His gaze said he was clearly not impressed and his dry tone was practically dripping with sarcasm. Or, not really, because it was dry so it couldn't be dripping, but it was Gareki and Yogi was pretty sure he could be dry AND be dripping at the same time. "To be left in a strange or unfavorable place without the means to depart." Gareki looked around the empty beach and back to the small stand of trees on which they had crashed. "I am pretty sure the definition fits."
Yogi weaved his fingers together nervously. Okay so *technically* they were stranded… "I activated the homing beacon! The ship'll be by to pick us up by tomorrow. And we have food! So it's not like-"
"We're still stranded." Gareki cut in, but then he turned his head away from Yogi to signal an end to the conversation. Yogi would have argued his point more but after Gareki had turned away more arguing generally resulted in physical violence. Yogi wasn't in the mood to get hit so he wandered back to the smoking wreckage. It wasn't his fault that they had been stranded, even! There had been some sort of malfunction… at least they had managed to land on *land* instead of floating somewhere in the ocean.
After he had rummaged around in the ship and found the bento boxes that had been packed for emergency rations Yogi walked back to where Gareki was huddled. Yogi also had two blankets and a lantern. The temperature was dropping now that it was evening, and it was definitely getting darker out. Yogi flipped the lantern on and set one of the blankets on the sand. Then Yogi set the boxes and the lantern down on the blanket. "Gareki-kun!"
Gareki turned away from his silent contemplation of the tide. His eyes when they landed on Yogi quite clearly read 'get real' but then they dropped to the lunch boxes and Gareki's teenage stomach gave a loud growl. "…" Since his body had already betrayed him Gareki did not deny being hungry and merely flopped down on the blanket and opened one of the boxes up.
Yogi sat down next to Gareki and cheerfully wrapped the second blanket around their shoulders.
Gareki slanted Yogi a look.
"What?" Yogi asked with a puzzled look. It was the best way to conserve energy and keep warm! After all, Gareki might be wearing a coat but Yogi wasn't… but Yogi also ran hot so maybe he'd be able to keep Gareki warm. At least, that was the thought. After they had finished their impromptu dinner and Gareki had leaned against him Yogi's thoughts definitely moved in a different direction than just 'keeping warm'. Gareki's hair smelled like whatever shampoo the sheep provided back on the ship, and also like warm soft cotton and slightly like the sea. Yogi was pretty sure that's because the sea was like five feet away but he could roll with it. Yogi wrapped one arm around Gareki's shoulder. Gareki's shoulder stiffened at the touch, but gradually he relaxed and leaned into Yogi more.
Gareki's hand planted itself on Yogi's thigh and moved up, Yogi could feel that Gareki's palm was hot and slightly damp. Gareki always got *nervous* when sex came up, but he was also incredibly in control. Gareki knew a lot more about sex than Yogi did. "This is so cliché." Gareki muttered, and then pushed Yogi down onto the blanket and pushed the boxes out of the way. Yogi lay with the second blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He stared up at Gareki, Gareki looked good with the back ground of a starry sky.
"What's cliché?" Yogi asked, and for a second he thought that Gareki was just going to give him another definition, but instead Gareki climbed onto his hips and looked down at him.
"Sex on the beach." Gareki shrugged, then started to undo Yogi's belt. Yogi's breath hitched at each brush of Gareki's skilled fingers on his suddenly sensitive groin. "Sex on the beach while *stranded* on a remote tropical island. And, I don't know, maybe being stranded on a remote tropical island period."
"It's kind of romantic though!" Yogi reached up to pull Gareki into a kiss, his hands grabbing hold of the slightly crunchy fabric of Gareki's coat when he pulled him down. Gareki's lips were slightly soft, and Yogi bit down lightly on the bottom one to elicit that special groan that Gareki made. It was a sound that sent shivers all down Yogi's body.
"You're just watch too many movies." Gareki replied breathily, then Yogi's pants were open and Gareki's hand slipped inside.
