Miyuki had considered buying Thief-bro chocolate from the store.
Knowing that her cooking skills were pretty limited, her brother made better ramen then her, Miyuki had taken a few steps into the local chocolate shop before taking several steps out. The sheer amount of pink the shop contained had scared her, and the solicitous smiles of the teenage girls behind the counter had infuriated her. Miyuki might only be ten, but that didn’t stop her from being in love! It wasn’t silly. Thief-bro was pretty darn cool after all.
Because Tezuka was so cool though Miyuki knew that her chocolates would have to be extra special. Miyuki had tried to bake some chocolate cupcakes, figuring that she could give a few of them to Theif-bro, and then maybe one or two to her real brother. The flour had exploded all over her, and then Miyuki had accidentally added too much salt and not enough sugar.
Plus it had been kind of burned.
Still. Valentine’s Day was in two days, and Miyuki had to have the perfect chocolates to give to Tezuka. The recipe for ‘easy peanut candy bars’ had the word easy in the title, they couldn’t be that hard to make… right?
Half an hour and a destroyed kitchen later Miyuki gave up.
At least on the easy peanut candy bars. Maybe she’d try caramels next.
