Atsushi wondered if the hospital would mind if he asphyxiated himself with one of their cheap uncomfortable pillows.
It wasn't like he really needed to be in the hospital anymore. Breaking a leg didn't mean he needed an extended hospital stay, and he had barely suffered a minor head injury. He was stuck in the hospital long enough for Ryou to come up from Chiba though, and for Ryou and Yanagisawa to get into a shouting match.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY LITTLE BROTHER?!" Ryou's hands were wrapped around Yanagisawa's neck and the other teenager's hands were flailing, grabbing at Ryou's wrists as he fought for air.
"Nothing da ne!" Yanagisawa squawked out. "He fell down the stairs!"
Atsushi frowned when Ryou shook Yanagisawa. "I bet you PUSHED him!"
"Ryou, I didn't get pushed." Atsushi rolled his eyes when Ryou immediately stopped strangling Yanagisawa to turn his attention to the hospital bed Atsushi was lying in. "I fell." It just so happened that Yanagisawa's feet had been the reason Atsushi had tripped down the stairs, but that hadn't been Shinya's fault.
"You should come back to Rokkakku Atsushi, no one's going to push you down stairs there!" Ryou moved over to cling to Atsushi's left arm and Atsushi rolled his eyes.
"I'm afraid Atsushi-kun's agreed to come to St. Jerome's for high school." Atsushi felt a headache building as Mizuki chuckled from where he stood in the doorway. Strolling over to the bed Mizuki handed Atsushi a bunch of flowers. "Here Atsushi-kun, from the team and I."
"Hey!" Shinya flailed. "I already gave him a teddy bear!"
"From everyone and the team but Shinya."
"Unfair da ne!" Shinya crossed his arms over his chest and sulked. "Mizuki-san's so mean da ne."
Mizuki chuckled and ignored the faces Shinya was making at him. "You have to get better soon Atsushi-kun, I'll need you on the team when we begin at St. Jerome's."
"Hold on a minute." Ryou shoved Mizuki aside and grabbed Atsushi's hands. "You're not coming back?"
Maybe the nurses would let Atsushi have some morphine or something. He was beginning to have the worst headache.
