HELLO FLIST! GUESS WHO GETS TO BE SPAMMED? ....why, yes, you. ^_^ Quite possibly *not* my last post of the night. Okay, let's start off with my birthday.
Well, I slept in, and then showered, getting ready for Dr. Zhivago. I'd really been looking forward to the movie. I mean, I love Dr. Zhivago the book, the movie, the mini-seriees with Keira Knightly.... hell, look at this pic-
It's the 'Dr. Zhivago coat' my Mum bought me. That's how much I love it. So Maggie, Matt, Juliet and I went to see it. Well, we barely had enough money for stuff, cause Maggie thought she had a 20 but didn't. So it's lucky I had brought some cash, but not a lot. We did get popcorn and a diet soda (which I didn't drink, cause I hate diet) to share. And man... we walked into the Palace Theatre (which is a *gorgeous* theatre*) with the Daffy Duck cartoon playing. Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a half century!!!!! Such a perfect cartoon for my birthday!!!!
Well, the movie starts, with the theme. Lara's theme is @_@ hypnotic. And will stick with you *forever*. Stupid... mind numbing theme. And it plays everytime something 'good' is going to happen.... which is immedietly followed by *BAD* things. ^_^ And it did odd things to my brain. Like, there's this one scene right? And Komorovsky is going on about the 2 types of poeple in the world, and calling Lara a slut and slapping her... and I was just like "I totally wanna work that speech into a YukiFu scene" There was all this sex too, it made Juliet go 'agh!!'. XD And, you know, it's depressing as fuck. Typically Russian.
Lara's Mom thought? Hooooooooooot (Adrienne Corri) There was this one scene with her lying sweaty on the bed, panting, hair in disarray. I think I have a fetish for backs and shoulders. >> And necks. Mmmm....
Okay, so, moving on. Came home and ate corn, and a big, juicy hamburger, and beans and custard and stuff. Then got to my presents. Well, I already had *some* of my presents. My sisters Tricia and Beth gave me a pair of pants and a necklace
Tricia and beth gave me the one on the left, the green. The blue on the right, and the gargoyle are from my sister Maggie. My sister Marian gave me the pearls, go go with this outfit-
Juliet, of course, got me Manga.
Isn't she thoughtful? That's my foot. But yeah, the Descendant's of Darkness was one we were missing, AB was new, 1,001 nights is a really good (if bloody) manga, and Sengoku Nights is by one of our fave. mangaka's. She did Diablo which Juliet and I both loved. And the Furuba? Well.....

This is my room clean! No, really, this is clean for it. *Very* clean for it. And that chair? That rockingly cool chair? From my Mum. I love it. I'm sitting in it right now

So that was my birthday...
and then I went to bed and woke up for .... THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES!!! I wore the outfit and pearls, and went to my 8:30 Western civ class. I flirted with the cute freshman, and the class looks pretty interesting. I'm hoping it doesn't lure me back into thinking I can live with a history degree. I *know* I'll starve with it. Please, teaching degree, I'll minor in history maybe. And and.... I'll write a book or something! Heh. >D History of Sexuality. XDDDDDDD Well, then I went to Geology, and then waited for my lab. Well, waiting for my lab I was sitting in the hall, and the TA finally shows up. Mo was with him. Moe is this guy who directed a play I was in a few years ago, and I run into him on campus occasionally. Well he looks at me and he's like 'have you taken this class before?' and I'm like 'no!' all cheery like. And he's totally confused. ^O^ Everytime we meet (it's breif) I swear he *knows* he knows me.... but not from where. It's fantastic, and I'm too lazy to tell him. Well after that I had a while before I was meeting with my cousin, so I went down to the Keith Building. >> But I'd *just* missed the application for the secretary position. And of course there's all this construction going on. @_@ So it's a bitch to walk just a block or two. It's horrid to catch the bus too. >> Well, I head back, and on the way I'd spotted this sorta thrifty looking shop right? Well I thought I'd take a look inside.
I bought myself a bracelt and a pearl necklace (I like pearls). And one more thing.... But it requires a bit of a story.... (link)
Anyway, then I walked to meet Sami for lunch. And after talking to her (always amusing. >> I'm amazed how much more I know about sex then someone *having* sex.
