So, today's shippy post was going to be about why I love Star Trek's Pilot/Navigator pairs, but it was really hot today and miss Mya was like THE WORLD SUCKS and I ended up giving myself mild heat exhaustion, and I'm tired and BLAGH-y.
So.
You can IMAGINE my post, detailing why I love Chekov/Sulu and Tom/Harry. Geordi/Data apparently does not count except GEORDI WAS TOTALLY THE PILOT FOR THE FIRST SEASON ALRIGHT? So. It does.
Anyway, yes, so, please be imagining my post of epic bromance that carries me through many many many years of geeky sci-fi TV and Movies and imagine the links to epic awesome fanfics as well.
Also, fanart. I know I saw some hot Geordi/Data lying around somewhere.
Anyway, yes, Miss Mya really enjoyed going BLARGH all over me today. O_o Seriously. At once point she spit up like an OUNCE of water all over my arm. It was pleasant, really.
And at that point I said 'YOU KNOW WHAT MOM, I THINK I'M GONNA GIVE HER A BATH. SERIOUSLY.' And then we gave Mya a sponge bath and she was like SO MUCH HAPPIER NOW THAT I'M COOLER.
Mya also totally says Aunt Kate now. ...okay, she doesn't, because she's 5 months old BUT... she has these sounds. Like, she has a sound specifically for her mother, and she has this GUH/GNU sound for Grandpa and today, while Grandpa was changing her diaper and I was making faces at her, she was like 'Keh'.
And Dad and I were like O_O. And then Dad was like 'that's right, that's Aunt Kate' and she was all 'Keh! :D'
And I was like HEE AUNT MARIAN WILL BE SO JEALOUS.
