Juliet: I really wanna go visit Gabby at OU for Halloween.
And all I'm thinking is 'the last time you went to OU for Halloween you got drunk and high'
Juliet: I can't do anything!
And all I'm thinking is 'really, and when surrounded by booze and drugs you think the fact that there's a life inside of you will STOP YOU?' Honestly, if you need to get pregnant in order to ignore booze and drugs and all the other forms of self-harm you were gleefully engaging in UP TO A FEW MONTHS AGO...
But she just wants to see Gabby. And of course she wants to do it on Halloween, and she wants to go out and party. Not that OU parties get wild, and not that her parents wouldn't be worried about her safety. Not like she has no way of GETTING to OU, or that she doesn't understand her parents worries.
Juliet: Why do you always give up on conversations like this?
Because I don't want to get into an argument. Because talking to you is often like bashing my head against a brick wall. I don't care if you want to talk about it, I don't. You have your own ideas, and I have mine, and there is never going to be any middle ground between them because you will not budge. And you know what? I find your position to be ludicrously immature and foolish. I'd be willing to meet you halfway, but no way am I going any further. I don't want to deal with you getting me so pissed that I end up shouting at you, because I dislike shouting at you and I dislike the way being pissed makes me feel.
