...my poor, poor dog.
Dulcie's not the best of dogs in the first place. She's small, like, undersized small, and she's scared of her own shadow. Srsly, the dog wouldn't step on her shadow for fear of offending it.
And she gets really down when parents leave, or hell, when I leave. And I'm not the biggest animal lover (scratch that, I don't really like animals, like at all) so the poor dog's just not well off. So anyway, she's been down and stuff, and so I go to take her on her daily walk...
I'm 3/4ths of the way around the block when this MASTIFF comes just... BARRELING down the driveway. Like, IDK if the dog barked before hand, I don't think he did. I don't know what his owners were doing, though the one who looked like the son (I didn't get a good look at either) was half naked. Anyway, so I'm walking down the street, and the dog comes RUNNING down hte driveway. Now Dulcie's no good with big dogs, she gets beaten down by small dogs. The mastiff is easily half as tall as her, and WAY bulkier, and he's just...
And I've got her on the leash, which I'm keeping a tight hold of, and so she and the mastiff are doing this in a circle around me...
And the half naked son barrels down the driveway and takes the mastiff down.
Dulcie: I'm not sticking around, get me OUT of here.
Me: Uh. Sorry. ~walks off with her dog~
She was all 'I WANNA RUN, GIVE ME AN INCH AND I'LL TAKE OFF' for the rest, nervously looking over her shoulder, trying to go as fast as possible, starting whenever a car drove by. And all shaky too.
She had drool on her left back side.
So! I'm gonna change her walk route. ^^;;; Tomorrow we'll go around Canterbury on the Princeton side, instead of the Eaton side.
