I'm really bored... and in a weird brain position, so I'm doing Year in Review memes
Meta meta meta. XD I know, when you start to THINK about your writing, it's a bad idea. But I'm not really in the mood to WRITE write. (Except I sort of am. I do have word open!) So. Year in Review.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
I wrote... about as much Fic as I thought I had. A SHIT ton of drabbles though. >> Jesus, but actually, not as many as I thought I had. :x But then, I don't count drabbles I've done for drabble memes and aren't posted on my LJ XD (I mean, 182's not a LOT...) And I guess I have like... 3 more fics to add to the list, but the oh wait, the Yanagi fic can be posted can't it... XD;;; Ah well, I still can't post my CC, which I actually liked...
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2007?
K last year I was totally into PoT. I ventured into other fandoms breifly, but I never wrote so MUCH for another fandom. I just.... KHR was just what I needed. With PoT fandom 'dying' (and I will defend it's right to live, but apparently not to the point that I'll flood the fandom with fic.) and with the manga ending... KHR was just right. Cheerful, irreverant, filled with things that made me smile, and quick to read.
Even then though, I didn't start writing for it for forever, and I didn't really fall in love with ANY pairing until 10051. I would never have predicted that pairing. I mean, I figured I was gonna be a Yamato/Gokudera shipper, or a Dino/Hibari shipped, but then Byakuran and Shouichi showed up and I was like 'oh crap I'm so gone'. ...also, I kind of got into KHR b/c of Shouichi, so I should have REALIZED that he was going to be who I fell for
I also don't think I could have ever predicted Niou/Yanagi. Granted, I wrote some Yanagi before (I think) but I shipped him with Kirihara, Troika, and Inui. Not... Niou. It was a fun pairing to work with though.
Oh, and, uh... :x Goldfish porn. Couldn't have expected that.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
My favorite story? Hmmm. It's always hard for me to pick things like that. But I'll be honest... Kite-Sensei might be at the top. XDDD It was terribly bad and CLICHEEEEEEEEE... but... XD Oh god. It still makes me smile. After that maybe tempt me from this craft which was TECHNICALLY written for last year's![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
Risks? Well, hmm. XD I guess, KHR was certainly a risk. IDK what I learned from it though. I didn't really try anything 'new' and 'shiny' besides a different fandom. Oh, but I did a lot of 3somes this year, and was reminded how much of a BITCH they are to write. :| Biiiiiiiitch bitch bitch bitch.
Do you have any fanfic or pro-fic goals for the New Year?
More! :D My plan is always 'more'! I do plan to keep writing KHR, and I hope to also write more PoT as well. I'd like to write some of the pairings I haven't been writing, like TezukaFuji or Chitose/Tachibana. I'd also like to write more fic instead of just drabbles. Staying in character is always a goal, and I'd like to believe I keep to it. Also, I'd like to explore MORE characters, and MORE things. I'm always trying to expand my boundaries.
Story Most Under Appreciated by the Universe:
What a man can do, and what a man can't do. :| Okay, so near the end it stops being my BEST work, but it's SO my best work at the beginning, and through most of the fic. I just... I enjoyed writing it (until I got to the end and was like 'aaaaaaaah, aaaaaaah STOP YOURSELF') But like... Leafy replied to it. XD That's it. And Lyuna too.
Most fun:
Didn't I answer this? XD Well, the one that was the most fun to write? Uh. To Be Pissed Off, or Menage a Trois. TBPO got written out in my journal in bright orange ink b/c ticking clocks can get really annoying. XD Menage A Troi was written fortriopuri and was a TON of fun to write. I really enjoyed playing around with the character dynamics.
Most disappointing:
Mmmm. See, I can't really say I was dissapointed in a fic. Saying that is like spanking a child b/c they do something YOU'VE taught them. XD But I suppose The Super Ugly Duckling. There just... needed to be more there. It was a half assed fic (like my Yanagi exchange) and I'm upset with myself for it.
Most sexy:
MMMM. Illusions, probably. XD I think I'd consider it one of my better porn scenes.
Story With a Single Sexy Moment:
XD Menage a Trois. Just... okay, it had SEVERAL sex moments, but...
Hardest to Write:
Ugh... I... Mywillow_lotus (which I should post) I just found that it was really hard to just write... Gen Renji. Renji's kind of... boring on his own. XD IDK, that sounds so bad...
