Okay, so I don't like some of LJ's recent actions, and I DON'T appreciate their tone for the userbase in the interview but...
They have a point.
Seriously, if they have statistics that show that only 10% of the users joining joined with base accounts... granted LJ's userbase is HUGE, but I wonder how many RP journals were in that 10%. I don't really have a problem with the userbase thing, I just have a problem with how they see the userbase.
But I don't think a boycott will help with that. Note how they talk about the boycott.
Wasn't planning on boycotting before, won't do it now.
