Nearly got hit by 5 cars in two hours. Personal best record. Not leaving the house now.

Have you ever had that situation, where you really didn't think someone was being serious, and you teased them to the point that they cried and ran away?

And then of course you can't apologize, b/c you feel like a jerk and what are you supposed to SAY? 'I didn't think you were serious' just makes you look like a bigger jerk, not to mention feel like a bigger jerk. But 'sorry' is just lame. It's not like you can go back in time and stop yourself from doing it. Especially when at the same time you feel like the person is overreacting, but know that they have their own issues, and they're probably dealing with a whole shitload of other things that drove them to the edge.

And no one is going to feel better for a while, and all you really wanna do is bash your head on the wall in the attempt to smack some sense into yourself, or just curl up an die because obviously you fail at life.
