Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Spike hangs from his chains glaring at Glory as the bitch-goddess of hell tries to convince him to tell her who the Key is. Like he'd tell her anything, bitch, deciding to infuriate her enough so that she'd kill him instead of torturing him some more(though in all honesty he had endured just as bad with Angeluss and retaliated in much the same way) Spike decided to launch a verbal attack exactly where it would hurt the most. Her fashion sense. "Yeah, okay, sorry, but I just had no idea that gods were such prancing lightweights. Mark my words, the Slayer ... is going to kick your skanky, lopsided ass back to whatever place would take a cheap, whorish, fashion victim ex-god like you." Realing from the kick and finding himself on the floor but outside of the apartment he had been in Spike looks breifly at the angry hellgoddess before limping away.
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Xander stood his ground glaring at Angelus while trying to hide his shaking. No way was he gonna let Angelus know how scared he was, though the vampire could probably 'smell' it or something. He couldn't stop Angelus, he knew that... "Maybe not. Maybe that security guard couldn't either. Or those cops... or the orderlies... But I'm kinda curious to find out. You game?" Angelus looked pissed. Definitly pissed off, way to go Xandman but, wait, was he backing off. Nope just leaning closer. Shit! Too close!
"Buffy's White Knight. You still love her. It must just eat you up that I got there first." Not really, not anymore. Buffy was... Buffy. A Slayer, a beautiful girl but... fallible. His golden girl was, gone. Just like any respect for, and crushes on Angel had disappeared when he hid in is apartment instead of fighting the master. Locking eyes with the vampire in front of him Xander sneered, the unsouled Deadboy didn't even hold a candle to the souled version.
"You're gonna die. And I'm gonna be there."
Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need
Spike moans in his sleep. In his dream he kisses Buffy, a common enough dream. Then the blonde changes, becoming a brunet and male and bigger then Spike. But it's not Angelus, which would have been normal. But... "Xander." Spike murmers and throws himself out of his dream and into a stage of wakefullness. Eyes wide with horror Spike runs one hand through his hair, "Oh god. Oh god no."
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
Spike dodged another punch from the demon and quickly attacked again. Xander was fighting off another demon, this one seemed to be female and more intent on man-handling him than killing him. And no it wasn't Anya. "Spike! Behind you!" Stupid demons trying to sneak up behind them. Xander lashed out with his ax again and managed to chop the sensitive spot on the demons chest, collapsing it's skelatal structure completely. The vampire whirled around at Xander's shout and finished off his two demons in a few easy moves. Xander watched the leather clad black form in awe having to preform a quick drool check when it was over. Okay, so maybe he though Spike was a little hot, he looked awesome when he was killing things!
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Spike opened one eye as Harris quickly got dressed for one of his menial low-wage jobs. The boy looked bloody georgous when he was naked but he put on one of those uniforms or his god-awful hawiian shirts and... woosh there went the sexiness. Closing his eye again he listened to the steps of the under-estimated 'hero' walk out of his parents basement. Looking forward to Xander coming home so he could peek in on him in the shower.
Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
Xander closed his eyes, jerking off in his new apartment. Anya had dumped him because he had shouted out someone elses name. Understandable since it was Spike he was thinking about. Hurrying his hand up he imagined Spike's hand doing this too him, Spike's british voice whispering dirty things in his ear and Xander came.
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet
Spike watched as Xander threw himself at the demon who had knocked him down. The boy held nothing more then a stake and a prayer and then... the demon was dead. Spike couldn't figure out how. All he could think was 'mild mannered carpenter my arse.'
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere
Watching me
Xander shuddered. He had just left the school after Angel had tried to offer him to his... his what? His something. He had seen a look in the vampires eyes that went beyond hunger for blood. More like... lust. That's what he defined it as. Shivering again Xander tried to ignore the feeling that he was being watched.
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like the fire in my blood
Spike knew Xander was there. He was almost always aware of the mortal. He had long since decided that he definitly felt something for the brunet but was testing the waters. Seeing if there was any chance. Turning around Spike smirked as brown eyes swept over his black clad form. Then there was a blast of pheremones as Spike's hands danced over his body. Finally Spike decided enough was enough. The boy was his, and since Xander found himself pressed up against a wall with William The Bloody's lips all over his Spike figured there was no better way to prove ownership then by taking the boy back to his apartment and buggering the brains out of him.
