Fuji tucked the dark black veil around his chin, covering the bottom half of his face. For once he was glad for this countries strict rules on mourning. His shorn hair would be taken as a sign of a widow in the first week of mourning, and the conceiling dark black clothes would state that 'her husband' had been of a high class. It also managed to hide that Fuji was in fact a male, and the noticable, rather significant gold armbands he was forced to wear. Moving carefully through the marketplace Fuji kept his eyes out for any guards, most were not important enough to know of his escape from the Sha's harem, but there might be a few guards browsing throug the market place searching for him. Ducking his head Fuji kept away from the shadows that woud have hid him better. Theives of this city were always better informed then the usual rifraf. Fuji should know, he used to be one.
Skirting around a corner Fuji bumped into someone, his hold on the veil tightening. He began a low apology before his eyes widened as he looked up into a familiar face.
(Who has Fuji bumped into? Why is Fuji escaping? Etc, etc, this isn't really a story idea (though it would fit with a plotline I have written down in a notebook) and I don't really know who's involved. I wanted to see if my Flist would play along! Post the next part of the story! Take a character who hasn't entered the scene and describe things from their point of veiw!this was actually an idea I'd been thinking about im'ing Tan with, but I just didn't feel up to Sorta like a Round Robin I guess)
